Here are some of the measures we have in place to ensure your safety:

  • Training for every team member regarding COVID protocols
  • Every patient is screened for COVID-19 symptoms when confirming their appointment
  • All team members, patients, and visitors are screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival at the office.  Based on the answers provided, we may need to cancel your visit to the office and reschedule it at a later date.
  • All team members, patients, and visitors who enter our facility must hand sanitize immediately
  • Any public areas with patient or visitor contact will be sanitized appropriately and regularly
  • As always, we continue to observe universal precautions for all procedures for all patients to prevent cross-contamination, not only for COVID–19 but also for other communicable diseases.
  • Magazines and toys have been removed from the reception area
  • We have installed a glass barrier at the front desk
  • We have placed barriers between each operatory. If need be, the operatory can be completely sealed up during an appointment
  • Our HVAC system has been assessed by licensed professionals and we exceed the air exchange per hour rate by 10x the recommended amount. We have also installed Jade medical-grade air purifier units in each operatory to further enhance the airflow. https://surgicallycleanair.com/jade/
  • In addition, we have installed a larger Cascade medical-grade air purifier in the reception area  http://surgicallycleanair.com/cascade-white/
  • All treatment areas are thoroughly disinfected with an approved disinfectant between patients
  • We will continue to monitor scientific evidence and the direction of the public health officials and implement changes as needed
  • We will be using enhanced PPE for aerosol-generating procedures
  • We recommend comprehensive dental care to reduce visit frequency. If you have multiple fillings to do, consider doing them all at once to minimize the number of visits needed
  • We will use contactless tap credit and debit card payments when possible. The credit/debit card machine is disinfected after each use
