Individual Patient Needs
Our team is dedicated to providing all patients with quality dental treatment in a safe and comfortable manner. Here, your comfort level is just as important as the work we're performing on your smile. We all work as a team to deliver coordinated preventive and restorative dental care for every patient.
We take the time to understand your personal needs and to recommend any options applicable. Whatever your unique dental needs and goals may be, we will do our best to help you to reach them. We are here to listen to your questions and concerns, and to help provide solutions leading to your better health. We encourage you to involve yourself in your own treatment and to ask questions throughout our relationship. In our opinion, an informed and involved patient is most likely to achieve the highest level of health, and we look forward to working with you to achieve this goal.
Education and Prevention
As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide "dental health care" vs. "disease care". That's why we focus on thorough exams, checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking X-rays when necessary. There is research that may link gum and bone disease with more serious health conditions such as heart disease, strokes and coronary artery disease, diabetes, pre-term and low birth weight babies, pneumonia, arthritis, chronic inflammatory diseases, and other health problems. With regular periodontal therapy maintenance appointments, you can not only keep your teeth, gums and bone support healthier, you can reduce the risk of these other health problems.
Training and Education of Staff
Dentistry is an exciting field that is constantly changing as new information and products become available. As a team, we feel it is important to continually update our skills, techniques and education in order to put forth our best effort as we provide care to all our patients. We also belong to various study clubs and professional dental associations, which help us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations of our profession. Our goal is to provide the care you need to keep your smile healthy.
